My Guitar Gear
I Recorded and Mastered All My Music on the 8 Track Digital Recorder: Zoom MRS-802CD. I also took advantage of the onboard Guitar and Bass Effects as well. This also being the only effects I used with the Exception of Zoom's GR-1 (Released in 2006) which I used to fatten some of the Guitar Synth (see below) and on some of the Octave Chords and Clean stuff. But the Distoritions/Clean Sounds and most of the Delays and Choruses were used solely by the Zoom MRS-802CD built-in Effects.
I also used on my Debut CD: Rippin', Roland's Guitar Synth the: GR-20 for some Keyboard Harmonies and for filling the gaps in some of my songs. A nice little unit with some nice tones and sounds. I especially like the tune I did using the GR-20 called: Lover Letters which ends with a Killer Guitar Solo. Check it out! Thanks!
The last piece of Guitar Effects I used on my recording was Zoom's Lastest Guitar Effects Pedal called: GR-1 (Released in late 2006) which has a built-in Drum Machine and is really nice if you just wanna jam and don't have a drummer. There are some nice Effects to this unit and I used only this unit on a few songs mostly for Clean Chords and Octaves.
It is hard-enough being a Left Handed Guitar Player and yet Steinberger (Thank you God!) was kind enough to help out lefties in this department by making left handed model's. While these are made in Korea -- I think they are simply so under-rated and great sounding axes! It is a real shame a lot of people are unfamiliar with Steinberger Guitars and Basses. It is extremely fast to change strings, the Instruments weigh a lot less than Standard Guitars and the quality is great too!
I purchased mine at: www.musicyo.com they run out a lot of these Guitars a lot! But get a hold of one, their great! I am really impressed with them. And wow! Lefties can actually have a great Guitar at a Great Price! Very unique Instruments!
Below are a few pics (two of my Guitars and one Bass). All are Steinberger Spirit brand made in Korea. The USA Models are a little different with: Graphite Necks and the Tremolo is a little more unique and they come with EMG Pickups (Active) as opposed to the EMG SELECTS found in the Korean Models. Over-all I am very happy with the reasonably priced Korean Models and again: Deo Gratis (Latin for: Thanks be to God!) for Lefty Models.
